{DOULA PACKAGE - $1,600.00}

  • 24/7 phone and email support upon signing the contract

  • ​Up to 2 pre-natal visits at home or at a designated meeting place

    • Open and honest communication on all issues that will have a bearing on your birth

    • Review of the physiological aspects of childbirth 

    • Assistance in drafting your desired birth preferences

    • Provide information on childbirth education classes in your area

    • Introducing comfort measures to help the changes and discomfort brought on in labor

  • Back up arrangements in case of illness or emergency

  • Constant care, attention, and support once active labor has begun

  • Non-professional birth photography, if desired

  • Assists in the establishment of a successful breastfeeding relationship with baby

  • Up to 2 hours of postpartum care at your place of birth

  • Check-in at 24 & 72 hours postpartum

  • Breastfeeding support and counseling or referrals, if needed

  • Parenting and newborn information and referrals, if needed or requested

  • Timeline/Notes from your birth will be typed and given to you

  • 1 postpartum visit occurring up to 2 weeks postpartum

{DOULA FEE}

 

The fee for my doula services is $1,600.00.

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required upon signing the contract in order to ensure your date on my calendar.

The remaining balance is due on or before 36 weeks.

$50 Discount if paid in full by 32 weeks.

(Other forms of payment, such as payment plans, are available as I believe that every woman has the right to have a doula if desired.)

*Important*

As a Doula, I do not perform clinical tasks, vaginal examinations, fetal heart checks, or blood pressure, etc. I do not make decisions for you. I will help you get the information you need to make informed choices but the decisions to have or not have a procedure must be yours alone. I will also remind you if something proposed is a departure of your birth plan. 

 

I do not speak to the medical staff in your place regarding matters where decisions must be made. I will discuss your concerns with you and suggest options, but you and your partner will speak on your behalf to the medical staff.
